
GTC Tower, Zagreb
The building codes for the site restricted the height to such an extent that we thought the outcome was condemned to become an oxymoron of a short tower. The location is cut off from the pedestrian network, accessible by car. The building is to sit next to a major road in the company of mostly stereometric late postmodern corporate towers.

In a way we opted for a diametrically opposite approach. We proposed a non-form, medium height, multiple-contour building, with a free plan appropriate for rent. Its expression seems more geological or biological that archi-tectonic. The flexibility is enhanced by the suspended Y-shaped bridge.
